This course will explore LMS’s, LCMS’s and CMS’s, and accessibility within them. It will also allow you to interface with several E-Learning Systems e.g. Moodle and Canvas.

Exploration of LMS’s, LCMS’s and CMS’s outlining the differences between them while making connections to your environment.

Creation of timeline for LMS’s, LCMS’s and CMS’s

Creation of an accessibility table

Exploration of the concept of accessibility within a learning management system, with a focus on web standards issues, accessibility issues for inclusion and diversity of participants using the LMS.

An investigation into the importance of addressing accessibility issues in the LMS.

Compilation of a participation report

Interfacing with several E-Learning Systems e.g. Moodle

Compilation of a report highlighting the top ten resources that a university will need to give consideration to during its initial quest for an LMS and a rational and supporting artifact for each.

Compilation of a report / critical discussion of four of the key considerations for designing content within an LMS.
