ABOUT ME

I am Melisa Jacqueline Hippolyte.  An avid reader with a passion for ICT, I enjoy
learning new things and passing my acquired knowledge on to others.  My first
passion in life was business, evident in my eary academic qualifications. However,
while studying for my International Diploma in Human Resource (Personnel)
Management, I was offered a job at an After School Program, and my passion changed to the field of education.
I love every aspect of the field of education and made it my mission to get qualified in that field.
An educator for over ten (10) years, I am currently pursuing my masters in Instructional Design and Technology with the University of the West Indies.
Recently I embarked on a new venture, training to become a Virtual Tutor with the OAS, and will soon be putting this to use when I commence my first course, tutoring a number of my fellow St. Lucian colleagues in the course ‘Intel® Teach – Collaboration in the Digital Classroom’.
Though I entered the teaching profession ‘by accident’, I have remained and furthered my development in the field of education, as my passion for learning and educating others has deepened and continues to grow.
