Introduction:
This course will be a very interactive course. It will allow you to acquire knowledge and competencies required to develop skills in instructional media, and to create media artifacts for online/e-learning contexts.

Creation of website using HTML5 Codes - WordPress

Compilation of a usability evaluation report

Defining of the terms media and instructional technology.

Creation of graphics, audio and video artifacts to be uploaded to the website:

Introduction and development of competencies in Photoshop

Investigation into the different file formats

Creation of storyboards both individual and group

Introduction and development of competencies in audio editing tools, e.g. audacity

Introduction and development of competence in 3 aspects of video: video shooting, video

editing and video distribution

Running of compression tests on completed video(s)

Creation of YouTube Channel
